Orlando Firefighter

Highgate Park : More local news and local events from in and around the Highgate Park Davenport area as firefighter James Love of Orlando, Fla., and his apparel company, Black Helmet, were recently contacted by a fireman at Camp Liberty in Iraq, who asked Love to design a new duty shirt for them as a reward for their passing a skills test. Here is what he wrote:

"We are firefighters from all over the U.S.A.; some career, some volunteer. We are comprised of two stations with two engines, one tanker and one heavy rescue and a third station with an ARFF (Airport Rescue Fire Fighting) truck. We recently were tested on our skills and operations and we scored a 95, which was the highest in-country. We strive every day to do our best to protect those who protect the peace."

Love designed the shirt in Army green. It's also available in navy. The design has the Liberty Bell in the middle of it.
