Orlando Airport Sees Martinair Again

More local news from in and around the Highgate Park Davenport area as Martinair returns to Orlando International Airport and Central Florida with new, nonstop service to Amsterdam and connections to 98 other worldwide destinations. The service from mid October, has the potential for a $54 million annual economic impact to the region, according to an airport source.

Martinair begins operations with three flights per week from Orlando International to Amsterdam, using 767-300 aircraft with a 274 seat capacity.

“We are pleased that in light of the current economic climate that Martinair has decided it is a sound business decision to launch its service from our area which will benefit both the Netherlands and Central Florida,” said Jeff Fuqua, chairman of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority.
