Cocoa Beach Air Show

More local news from in and around the Highgate Park Orlando area as this weekend sees the inaugural Cocoa Beach Air Show. It will feature over 3 hours of military and civilian performers taking place over the ocean front from Noon to 3:30 pm on October 3rd and 4th. Military performers include the U.S. Air Force F-16 Viper Demo Team, U.S. Navy F-18 Hornet Demo Team, U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team and the U.S. Air Force Reserve 920th Rescue Wing.

The 920th Rescue Wing locally based at Patrick Air Force Base will showcase their unique skills and multi-faceted mission at the event. In addition to their role as a search and rescue wing for both military and civilian disaster relief operations, the 920th also supports all NASA and Air Force launch operations.

The Take Off Party on Friday night, October 2nd will kick off air show weekend in Cocoa Beach. The Golden Knights will perform a dazzling night jump over the ocean and land in the middle of the party.
